Our Work Flows are varied:

Do you share our passion for ridding commerce of bad design for humanity's sake? Perhaps not. Perhaps you have a profit motive for engineering design into your business model.

Our work flow for small projects is little more than the joint understanding of needs and subsequent production tasks. Photoshop manipulations and web site tuning are good examples of this. The work is largely created and needs only simple tweaks or minor alterations to clarify communication.

For major projects and next generation or start up ventures, we have developed this successful work flow model:

The illustration below typifies the activity distribution a second generation business graphic makeover can anticipate.

Phase 1… Discovery & Buy in — An open and free flowing exchange of business goals and strategies. Expect us to hang around with you making notes, asking questions, and looking for ways in which you distinguish yourself from others.

During this discovery process, feelings of trust and confidence must evolve in us both. I call this "buy in" because we invest far more than a monetary exchange in working together. We would both be wasting our time and energy if we didn't:
a) believe that our input will contribute substantially to your business and;
b) that you will take our work seriously and apply jointly developed ideas with enthusiasm and zeal.

The bottom line? We must share our enthusiasm for business or our contributions will never reach their potential.

Phase 2… Research & Brainstorming — Here we research concepts, form ideas and opinions, and prepare for the joint "think tank" elaboration of possibilities.

Phase 3… Production & implementation — We cut our teeth on all the manual and now outmoded forms of graphic arts and maintain no particular fondness for the old days. If anything, todays technology gives us far more freedom to be creative and maintain control over the elements of production.

While the Macintosh is our platform of choice, it's truly the software that has evolved to help designers exploit their imagination. With few exceptions, application integration and cross platform compatibility spell success for all of us.

. . . . . . . . . . .

Now that you know how we work, are you ready to explore some ideas together? Let us look over what you have. We may just come up with a suggestion or two.
